Wednesday 5:30 am Uncoached Rows
We had 6 scullers this morning in a quad and 2x. Perfect water and great views of the full moon at dawn over downtown Portland.
We will be continuing to meet at 5:30am for at least a couple more weeks and then will move to the evenings. Day and time to follow.
Contact Jan Hoyer at janis.hoyer@xo.com if you would like to join us.
Wednesday 5:30 am Uncoached Rows
Anyone interested in uncoached rowing or sculling on Wednesday mornings at 5:30am, please contact Jan Hoyer via email at janis.hoyer@xo.com.
I am willing to help organize uncoached rows on Wednesday mornings while we still have light in the mornings. The idea is to meet at 5:30, be on the water by 6:00am and off by 7:00am.Read more
E Women Rows
The E Women meet on Sunday mornings at 7am to scull and will, soon, start sculling early mornings during the week. If we have 4 people, we usually take out the quad. If we have fewer or more than 4, we will organize into doubles/singles.
Please subscribe to this forum if you are interested in sculling with the E Women, and leave a post with your email address and phone number, so we can get in touch with you.
Boat Availability
The current equipment schedule (good until July 11) is in the link below. Any blank spot indicates an available boat that can be used by self-organized rowers. Rowers who have passed the captain's test may take boats out without a launch from April 1-October 15, during daylight hours. Contact a coach to schedule your captain's test.
About Self-Organized Rows
The club is committed to making it easier for members to organize their own rows. These can be for members who are not part of a coached program, or for members who want to get extra time on the water.Read more
