Competitive Sculling

Mondays 5-6:45am
Land workouts from March 1-30.
Water time from April 6-Oct. 31

Appropriate for for advanced scullers who are committed to racing.   This group assumes a level of technical proficiency. This year we will focus on efficiency and power at higher rates. Regular attendance is expected; we start at 5am sharp!

Prerequisite: Pass the sculling Captain’s test and submit a 2k erg time.
 
Sculling Fundamentals
Coach: Evenings, Kevin Mulvaney. Mornings, Brad Crawford and Peter Edwards.
April 1-May 31 and September 1-September 30 T/TH 5:45pm-7:30pm
June 18- August 31 Fridays, 5am-6:45am

This group is focused on sculling technique. It is appropriate for both intermediate level sweep rowers who want to learn how to scull and long-time scullers who want to improve their technique. Practices will be primarily drills and steady state. Opportunities to pass the club's Captain's test will be provided. Participants may race if they want to but the focus will be on skills development.

Prerequisite: Willing to row a double scull without freaking out :-)
