Regionals Results

Sunny skies, warm temperatures and wind in Klamath Falls for Regionals this year.  Station L entered 43 boats in 40 events with some impressive results.  A few events were undersubscribed, leading to medals for "participation".   At one point, Scott Urbatsch led the standings with 3 medals for beating one boat!  Thanks to the coxes and rowers who all pitched in to make it a smooth regatta.

Highlights included:

1st place  Men's D 2x, Arthur and George.  

1st place  Men's C 4x, Evan, Arthur, Scott and George [w 2nd fastest recorded time of the whole regatta]

2nd place Women's B 4+, Christine, Ani, Melissa, Sydney, Kris L. [0.4 out of 1st, close!]

2nd place Women's A 4+, Christine, Ani, Melissa, Kris L, Sam

2nd place Men's D 8+, Kim, Edward, George, Gary, Dan, Jim, Mike, Paul, Darrell

2nd place Men's C 8+ Kim, Devon, Arthur, Gary, Scott, Alex, Steve, Edward, George

2nd places for the Mixed A 8+ and Men's A 2x in very close races

2nd place for Mixed A 4+ [married couples 4],  Christine, Devon, Ani, Alex, Sam

2nd place Men's D 1x, Arthur

3rd place Men's E 4+ Kim, Arthur, Dan, Jim, Paul

3rd place Men's B 4+, Kim, Devon, Gary, Alex, George

3rd place Mixed D 4x  Lyn, Celia, Ken, Scott

3rd place W E 1x Lyn

3rd place M A 1x Evan

4th Women's C 8+  [2 seconds out of 2nd  :-( ]
